Frigid (and windy i'm sure) 5

Today the wifey and I signed up for the Frigid 5, five mile race scheduled for tomorrow morning. We weren't going to do it--mainly due to the cost of $26 per person. Seems a little steep for a local race, don't you think? But we asked ourselves what else we would do to celebrate Valentine's day. To be honest, I am not big on this "holiday". Is this not the worst made up holiday ever?

Anyway, we thought about going to dinner, but we do that all the time. Hardly seems like a big deal. So, instead of wasting $60 on dinner we decided to spend $60 on the race. Maybe not romantic but should be a lot of fun.
