Again, Another Boring Blog Post

I can't say I have had much "blog worthy" stuff going on these days. I have been running according to my schedule. Did 5 miles outside yesterday morning and it was cold and windy. I actually had to break out the gloves. The run went well and it was nice to get a decent run in at my park.

I did officially sign up for the P.F. Chang's Rock 'n Roll Arizona Half Marathon. The great part is that Southwest Airlines, National Car Rental and Marriott all pitched in as sponsors. Ok, not really, but that is the one good thing about all the travel I do for work. Miles and points. Nothing better than free stuff. I am pretty excited about this race! Although, it will be a little odd training in 30 degree weather only to race in 60 degree weather. Good times ahead.

One last thing. I don't think I am going to run a marathon anytime soon. The time commitment might be a little more than I can give having the little one and all. On top of that, the wifey has decided she wants to start running more and training for a half. I can't see how we can both do it. I figure I will stick to the manageable half's for now and then when Piper is a little older, do a marathon. Thoughts on this?

Finally, congratualations to Terri at Middle-of-the-Pack Girl on completing her very first marathon. Way to go!
